In Ganochora Pieria with the towering mountain of Olympus and the Pieria mountain range in the background you will come across the Karasimou estate. Here in the self-owned and biologically qualified vineyards of ours with the help of “Mother Earth” and the excellent terroir of the region we apply traditional cultivation of low stremma crop yield. So from the stubs of our vineyards we produce excellent raw material making wines with exquisite bouquets of nose, rich volume and the ability of deep maturation. In our winery the visitor can (after communication) have a tour of our vineyards, get to know our techniques of our vinification, sample and procure the wine of our estate on a daily basis. We also give the opportunity to our visitors to attend talks and seminars about the world of wine world.

Special wine with character. Intensive gold color. Bright aroma of pear, peach and banana. Full body with great depth of flavor. Refreshing fruity bitterness of almond and buttery texture. Lively acidity and long finish. A food friendly wine and excellent alongside a wide variety of dishes such as baked/poached salmon cod, seafood bisque and creamy pasta.

Montepulciano – Cabernet Sauvignon – Merlot
Rich wine with brilliant deep ruby color. Captivating nose of black cherry ,plum and black currant. The palate finds remarkable structure tempered by fine tannins and tobacco notes. Silk and smooth in the mouth, full bodied with a persistence finish. This wine pairs well with lamp, veal and rib eye steak.

Elegant wine with medium ruby color. Impressive note of strawberry and red cherry. Medium – full bodied wine with smoky and dark chocolate flavor. Crispy tannins, brisk acidity and long finish. The perfect wine partner for pasta with red sauce, pizza, roast pork and blue cheeses.
